Nature at its Wildest in Urban Singapore.

HEYYYYY. I am back again but this time, with behind the scenes shoot instead of fashion. Check out the Fashion version by Ibthisam!

We barely made it for sunrise as we miscalculated our time and ran late to meet Gaya. She was the only punctual one. We made her wait. And for me, having to wait for people when I made the effort to wake up early is the WORSTTTT!! I will be angry (sleep is love okay. I need like a full on 10 hours of undisrupted sleep. Warning: any disturbance while at rest will result in an ugly outburst). Therefore, Gaya's frustration was highly understandable for me. But come on, I've waited for you longer. Cut me some slack 😘. All's cool afterwards. It has to be.

Anger hurts relationships ✌

The sun was not kind in the early hours. Tell me about it. The heat in Singapore nowadays can be almost unbearable. Sunscreen didn't prevent me from getting tan lines 😒. Bashayar was complaining the whole time, I could still hear her voice in my head-- "we are not going for a morning shoot anymore". Sense her frustration guys🤐.

Went into Coney Island and we were greeted by swinging monkeys in the trees. Definitely stopped us in our tracks. Especially for Bashayar, Gaya and I who visited the island for the first time. With our hands linked together, we passed the monkeys and furthered our journey. As we walked deeper, a new surprise greeted us. Wild dogs. Help. I'm afraid of cats even. These are dogs. Wild. I'm basically screaming internally whilst maintaining a calm outlook to not add to the intense feeling the team already had. Most importantly, I didn't want to let the dogs on my fear. Pretense Queen. That helped 🤫.

Coz we bored.

The shoot went on well. Oh, but but before I forget, the CLIMAXXXX. So whilst doing one of the outfit shoot, Gaya removed one layer of her clothing (out of the other she was wearing. Oh the heat 😫) with Ibthisam accompanying and assisting her. All went well people. Peaceful changing with no onlookers and unwanted attention. Until I walked passed the place she changed and SAW A POLICEMAN SITTING BEHIND THE TINTED GLASS. HOLYCRAP. Man, was I taken aback. Obviously, I had to tell the rest. Omg it was epic, the look on Gaya's face 🤣. Priceless baby! Imagine what awkwardness we put that policeman through 🤦‍♀️. You guys loooook:

😂 Still not over it but laughs aside, Coney Island is a gorgeous, picturesque location. It was a pity we didn't rent bicycles though. The place was huge we couldn't cover it all on feet. Nonetheless, it was beauuuuutiful. A touch of nature away from the busy SG.
